Two modes · one engine · one signed sheet

Vastu analysis you can sign your name to.

Draw the plan, or upload one drawn in any other software. Get a 16-zone, 32-pada and 81-pada reading with remedies — on one sheet, at true scale, with every finding keyed to the object it is about.

Both halves of the job

You do not always get to draw the plan yourself.

Most vastu work arrives as somebody else's drawing — a builder's PDF, a photo taken on site, a hand sketch. So the tool has two modes, and they share one engine.

Mode one

Design a plan

Plot first: size, facing, road side, setbacks. Then walls, or drag on typed room blocks. Doors, windows, stairs, furniture. Dimension chains, schedules and an area statement come with it — it is a working drawing, not a diagram.

Mode two

Analyse a plan you already have

Upload a PDF or a phone photo. Mark the boundary, the centre and north on the image itself. Assign spaces and entrances, read the report. No tracing, no rebuilding the drawing in our walls.

And the part people do not expect

No scale needed. Vastu zoning is proportional — a zone matters as a share of the total, never as a number of square feet. We never ask you to calibrate a drawing before you can read it.

Add a scale if you want measurements on the sheet. The zone maths never reads it.

How it goes

Four steps, either way in.

Designing

  1. Answer three questionsPlot size, which side the road is on, setbacks. Your plot is drawn and north is set.
  2. Lay out the roomsDraw walls, or drag typed room blocks at standard sizes. Closed loops become rooms on their own.
  3. Watch the zones as you goEvery room reports its zone while you move it — favourable, acceptable, avoid, with the reason.
  4. Issue the sheetThe drawing at true scale, the overlay, the findings keyed to objects, the score and the area statement.

Analysing

  1. Upload the drawingPDF or photo. It stays the artifact — everything is marked on top of it.
  2. Mark boundary, centre, northThe outline is proposed from the drawing's own ink; you correct it rather than starting from nothing.
  3. Assign spaces and entrancesTick the zones a space occupies for speed, or draw its true polygon for a true share. Both, not one or the other.
  4. Read and export the reportZones, charts, entrances, devatas, marma, findings with remedies — and your own notes beside ours.

What the engine reads

Most tools stop at eight directions and twenty room names.

A toilet in NNE is not a toilet in N, and a door on a favourable pada can still be obstructed. Here is the whole vocabulary the report is built from.

The 32 entrance padas around a plot boundary: eight favourable, eight to avoid, and sixteen deliberately left unrated. N E S W
The 32 entrance padas, as they sit on the boundary where the doors actually are.
8 favourable 8 to avoid 16 deliberately unrated
The 81-pada grid split into four devata rings of 9, 16, 24 and 32 padas, which sum to exactly 81.
The 81-pada grid as devata areas: 9 + 16 + 24 + 32 padas. Those are the published numbers, and they sum to exactly 81 — which is the check.
  • 16 zones, not 8Rules carry a defect, a severity and a remedy per zone — NNE and N are different findings.
  • 32 entrance padasWith classical names, and dwar vedha: what faces the door is read before the pada it sits on.
  • 81 padas & 45 devatasAs shaded areas with a square-foot table, on an 8×8 or 9×9 grid — your choice.
  • Marma points and linesNumbered and stable, on the grid crossings and the two karna sutra diagonals.
  • Ayadi ShadvargaSix values off the perimeter — and the nearest auspicious size, not just a verdict. No CAD tool computes this.
  • Two centresThe compound and the constructed outline are measured separately, because that is how the work is actually done.
  • Irregular plotsTrapezoid, triangular, L-shaped, octagonal, skewed. A circular wheel misplaces the Brahmasthan on a long narrow plot; the fitted one does not.
  • Cross-article rulesA toilet above the pooja room, a kitchen sharing a wall with a toilet, weight in the NE, an obstructed Brahmasthan.
  • 106 articlesSpaces, wet areas, stores, circulation, services and outdoor structures — not a list of twenty rooms.
  • What-ifMove a space, and read the score move with it: 79 → 94, and which space changed rating.

How it reports

A report is a document with your name at the bottom.

Which means the tool's job is not only to be right. It is to be clear about what it judged, what it merely wrote down, and where it has no opinion at all.

  1. Checked, or recorded — and the report says which

Every field is either analysed — it raises a finding with a severity and a remedy, and counts into the score — or it is documentation. They are labelled differently, because a consultant should never have to guess which numbers were judged.

  2. Measured, or declared

The report says whether north was measured off a satellite image or set on a slider. On an irregular outline the two classical centre conventions disagree — so it says that too, instead of quietly picking one.

  3. Unrated means unrated

Sixteen of the thirty-two padas, and most of the marma points, carry no verdict — on purpose. The schools differ there, and filling the gap with an invented table is the one thing a signed report cannot survive.

  4. Your remedy sits beside ours, never over it

Edit any remedy and it prints as Consultant: with the classical wording intact beside it. The tool never speaks in your voice, and you are never made to speak in the tool's.

For architects and draftsmen

It has to read as a drawing, not a diagram.

The vastu is the reason to use it. The drawing is the reason it can be issued.

Real linework

Two-line walls mitred at the corners, line weights, hatch and poche, jamb and reveal lines at every opening.

Measured output

Dimension chains, true drawing scale, a door and window schedule, the area statement, levels and section markers.

Vector export

SVG at a real scale with a title block — live text, no raster — plus the merged consultant sheet with findings keyed to the plan.

Drawing tools

Multi-select, copy, mirror, array, offset, layers with print control, free angles and arc walls, multiple floors.

Vastu that drives the drawing

Snap a wall to a pada line, not just to a grid — and get warned, never shoved, when a point lands on a marma.

Carry it across

An analysed upload can become a real editable plan, with the drawing underneath to trace against. Nothing else does this.

Where the build is

Free while in development — and here is exactly what that means.

This is in active development with the people who will use it. Nothing is charged for today. A subscription is planned, and it will arrive with accounts and cloud saving, not before.

There are no accounts yet, so your plans are saved in this browser, on this device. They are not on a server, and they will not appear on your phone or after clearing site data.

Anything you want to keep, export as a .fpj file from the project menu. That is your backup until cloud saving lands.
